We STILL Need You!
As we continue our weekly Online Worship Experience, we truly need your help . We are requesting additional, very brief videos for various parts of our Worship. Having you participate ensures that we have a warm, member inclusive worship we can all share.

Here are some ways you can lend a hand:
  • Passing of the Peace: simply film yourself saying "peace be with you"
  • Acolytes: we'd love to see our kids but all ages are great!
  • Windchimes: Do you have a set of windchimes? You can just take a video of the chimes being rung and then step out of the picture. You can continue to film and just let the chimes continue for as long as possible before turning off the camera.
  • Liturgists: We have added some additional slots for the coming summer weeks. Please see below in CUMC Outreach or follow this link to sign up!
Please note that our recordings are due on Tuesdays before the coming weekend.
To submit a video or if you have any questions, please contact:
  Barbara Babbitt  at  or
 Jeff Markay  at

We recently received two thoughtful Thank You Notes from

Throwback Thursday starts today!   As we count down to this year’s at-home VBC, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite songs and moments from the past decade of Vacation Bible Camp at CUMC. If you have a favorite music video you’d like to see again, email Karen at t .  New videos will be added as requests come in so check back at our VBC webpage often!
Snow is in the Forecast!
Starting Monday, July 6 th
The valiant Knights of North Castle are on a quest in search of the King’s Special Armor . But will the armor be what they think it is?  Kids of all ages are invited to join in the quest at our At-Home Vacation Bible Camp

Although VBC will look a little different this year, it will still be full of lots of the things you know and love about VBC at CUMC: energetic songs/dance moves, a fun look at Bible stories with modern day life applications, a theme verse, “castle callouts” and crafts. NEW this year: science experiment demonstrations and daily trivia games.
All this can be done in the safety of your own “castle” by visiting the VBC page on our CUMC website.

Each day, starting Monday, July 6 th , we’ll unlock a new quest for you to explore whenever you’d like. We’ll also post suggestions for fun theme snacks and a list of supplies for the science experiments if you’d like to try these at home. No registration required! No age limit!  So whether you share this with a friend across town, or a cousin across the country, we hope you’ll take up the gauntlet this summer and accept the challenge to “armor up” and “be strong in the Lord” by remaining with God and sharing God’s love in a world that needs it more than ever.

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Loving God, we are weary, and we come to You.
