Weekly Update for June 2, 2026

SUMMER STUDY: FAITH250

Grace is very excited to offer faith250 this summer! faith250 is a program that invites faith leaders and communities across our country to form clusters of congregations to act as sacred space for listening to one another, clarifying our shared civic values, and celebrating our hopes for America in 2026, our country's 250th anniversary. Locally led by Emily and Susan Steinberg of Providence Presbyterian Church, the small group discussions will center on some of America's most important texts - among them The Declaration of Independence, Emma Lazarus's The New Colossus, America the Beautiful, Frederick Douglass's address What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?, and Abraham Lincoln's The Gettysburg Address.

The program will run for three weeks in July.

When: Thursday July 9, 23 and 30 from 10:00 - 11:30 am

Where: Grace Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, 2955 River Road West, Goochland, VA

RSVP: gracechurch2955@gmail.com no later than Monday, July 6.

More information, including the texts to be explored, can be found at this link.
