Juneteenth: Hope for the future wrapped in a history lesson

On June 19, Americans commemorate the date more than 150 years ago when government-sanctioned slavery ended. Today, however, true freedom is not widespread and inequity persists. As United Methodists, we take a vow to resist evil, injustice and oppression. It's time to live into our membership vows and commit to full freedom for all people. Summertime Sessions - Beach Night

Join us for an evening on the beach to enjoy fellowship and dinner. We ask that each family bring their own food, chairs, and blankets. No RSVP necessary. Park West is located at 1340 Fort Pickens Rd. (the last parking lot on the Gulf Side before the Ft. Pickens gate).
GLORY Days
Thursdays through July 21 (Except on July 7) | 9:30 - 11:00am
Summer weekly get together for preschoolers, 3's and 4's (as of Sept 1, 2021). Younger children welcome to come with accompanying parent. They will participate in playtime and learning activities, storytime, devotion and a snack all based on a letter of the week centered around the word GLORY.
