Leaf Spot/Black Spot Fungus: What Is The Recommended Treatment?

Leaf Spot Fungus, also known as Black Spot Fungus, is going to be more prevalent this summer due to our recent excess rainfall in Oklahoma. Even if your photinia or crape myrtle's foliage isn't showing signs of Leaf Spot, we're suggesting this product and treatment as a preventative.
If the darks spots have gray centers, this confirms the fungal infection. If present, the fungus will spread to the branches and may cause cankered areas to the bark. Heavy infections will cause premature leaf drop.
Because the fungus over winters on infected leaves and branches from the previous year, it's crucial to remove all infected leaves and branches from beneath the tree to minimize the chances of spreading the fungus.
