All Month Long
HIA-LI 14th Annual Summer Food Drive - Now through September - Calling all small businesses in Nassau and Suffolk Counties!!  Join the nation's second largest small business food drive this summer!  Over 200 businesses partner for this good cause of collecting food donations!  Interested in team building?  Host a friendly competition!  Raise food and help Long Island Cares distribute 100,000 pounds of food this summer!  Register today.
 
Our Spring Food Drive runs through the end of the school year! Need last minute community service hours? Or does your honor society want to make one last effort to give back this year? Register to host a food drive. We need kid friendly snacks for the summer months!

The 2nd Annual CRAFT CARES BEER for a cause is still available! Trade two cans of non-perishable donations for 1 can of Craft Cares Brew, collaboration between all your favorite Long Island breweries...get your can while supplies last!  Check out the list of participating breweries!



Week of June 1st
The 2nd annual Half Way To "THANKSFORGIVING" food drive in partnership with WALK Radio and King Kullen!  Hunger is a year round issue. Help us fight the spike in summer hunger by dropping a non-perishable donation off:
Friday, June 3rd - Lindenhurst King Kullen - 10AM-3PM
Saturday, June 4th - Syosset King Kullen - 10AM-6PM
Sunday, June 5th - Manorville King Kullen - 10AM-6PM

Saturday, June 4th - Check out our information booth and job development program at HOPE DAY Block Party sponsored by Convoy of Hope - 11AM at Granny Road Park, Medford NY


Week of June 6th
Friday, June 10th - Who doesn't love Casual Friday? Donate $5.00 per person to take part in Casual for the Cause, the largest Casual Friday on Long Island and help Long Island Cares raise $50,000 in one day! Register your office today! 
 
Saturday, June 11thBubblepalooza in Calverton! If you're planning to run with the bubbles don't forget to bring a few cans of non-perishable donations! LI Cares will be on site with an information booth!

Week of June 20th
Thursday, June 23 - Help us Stuff a Truck full of food, toiletries, and paper goods! YES, we take more than food! Meet us at the Amityville Stop and Shop 10AM-3PM
 
Thursday, June 23 - Check out our information booth and job development program at The Town of Brookhaven Job Fair from 5:30PM - 8PM at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville!

Don't forget the fur babies! All Long Island Petco locations are official pet food donation centers for Long Island Cares. We accept pet food for ALL pets including but not limited to dogs, cats, ferrets, bunnies, caged pets, reptiles, fish, and others. Please note only unopened pet food and new accessories are accepted.
