There's so much going on at the Mercer Library this summer, I don't even know where to start! Thanks to generous support from the Friends of the Mercer Library, we have quite a few performers and special programs to offer you this summer, and I hope you'll join us.

Bike to the Library Week

June 20-25 is Bike to the Library Week, sponsored by the Wisconsin Bike Fed. 
Tie-Dye for Everyone

Join us on the Summer Solstice for our annual Mercer Library tradition: tie-dye! All ages can drop in from 11am to 12:30pm, and teens and adults can try out some more advanced patterns from 1pm to 2:30pm. 
Zen Doodle classes with Dottie Reeder

Dottie Reeder returns to the library with Zen Doodle drawing classes on Tuesday, June 21st, with a beginners class at 10:00 a.m. and an advanced class at 1:00 p.m. Call 715-476-2366 to register for these free classes.

"Pajamarama!" family program

Kids and their families are welcome to a fun program with Kenny Ahern on Tuesday, June 21st at 7:00 p.m. Wear your PJs and bring the whole family!

The Marquis de Lafayette: Champion of Liberty

David Best performed at the library last summer as Thomas Jefferson, and this year he turns his talents to the story of the courageous Marquis and his role in the American Revolution. Free program on Monday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m.

On Your Mark, Get Set, GROW!

Kids are invited to a traveling naturalist program with Licia Johnson on Thursday, June 30th at 11am. This is just one of the many summer programs for kids at the library this summer.

Northwoods Book Festival 

The Mercer Library is proud to be a sponsor of the 2016 Northwoods Book Festival. The next event in this cooperative program series will be on June 30th at the Boulder Junction Public Library, when we host author Lucie Amundsen to hear about her book, Locally Laid: how we built a plucky, industry-changing egg farm -- from scratch.
