Spring TN Craft Fair
Congratulations  Mariah Parris (BFA 2016), who won a merit award in the emerging makers tent of the May Tennessee Craft fair in Centennial Park; she’s a member and current president of the Plateau Chapter of TN Craft.

Jessica Rose Hagar (BFA 2016) also exhibited in the emerging makers tent.
Congratulations to Lydia Johnson, Clay Artist-in-Resident, and Sophie Glenn, Wood Artist-in-Resident, who were both awarded a State of TN Individual Artist Fellowship (in the Craft category).
Artwork by Sophie Glenn, Wood Artist-in-Resident, was included in Fine Woodworking Magazine Issue #262–Jul/Aug 2017.

Glenn used hand-cut dovetails and live-edge lumber for the traditional part of the piece. The modern twist?
