The Latest News from the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary
June is always a poignant time for us as it marks the month our dear Catherine was born eleven years ago. From the beginning, Catherine amazed us with her natural ability to love and care for animals. Every year in June, she wished for an "all the animals" birthday party that would bring all of her favorite creatures together. We often laughed and shook our heads at such an impossible request. But now we see the wisdom behind the wish... the future inspiration of Catherine's Butterfly Party.

On June 3rd, families and guests flocked from across the tri-state area to attend our 3rd annual Butterfly Party. Over 3,000 people came out to meet the adoptable animals, engage in nature-based activities, play STEM themed games, and learn about protecting wildlife and the environment. Thanks to the support of so many, we were able to bring all the components of the Sanctuary together in one beautiful afternoon, allowing participants a glimpse of all the magic we have in store. Thank you to all who continue help our daughter's wishes come true.

"I am so grateful for Catherine's Butterfly Party! What a wonderful way to celebrate her life. I adopted a sweet cat rescued from a kill-shelter and now she has a cozy forever-home with me. Thank you very much for organizing a wonderful event."
