Accelerated Supervisor Certificate Program
Begins June 28th - first time offering!
The Supervisor Certificate Program is a competency-driven program designed to build general supervisory skills, as well as the basics of leadership. The program addresses the needs of employees in a variety of roles:
  • Supervisors
  • First-line and first-time managers
  • Non-management technical professionals in a team or project leadership role
  • Newly hired supervisors and managers 
Over four months, this class meets twice a month for a full-day of training, including the following subjects: basic business practices, time management, problem solving and customer service.

Fundamental Skills for Manufacturing
Class starts June 21st 
If you are interested in hiring candidates from the June FSM class, or if you are interesting in auditing any portion of the class, please contact Kelsi Cline.

The NCRC is included in the FSM curriculum. Upon course completion, students sit for  the assessment.

Meeting Dates & Times:
  • June 21 - 3pm to 7pm
  • June 22 - 8am to 4:30pm
  • June 23 - 8am to 4:30pm
  • NCRC Assessment Date: June 26 at the Kentucky Career Center
FSM is a 24-hour course designed to equip new hires, underemployed, unemployed and incumbent workers with the necessary skills to be successful in manufacturing-related positions.

The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has announced three economic development projects totaling $86.73 million in capital investment and 283 new jobs.
Bowling Green was recently ranked second in Site Selection magazine's list of high-performing metros among communities with populations less than 200,000 based on total economic development projects for 2016.
