BRANCO MACHINERY & TOPCON ARE PROUD TO PRESENT

TAZNet

TAZNet (Topcon Arizona Network) is a full GNSS network capable of sending GPS correction to any GPS receiver in all available message formats.

How does it work?

TAZNet provides correction for the user that requires extremely precise positions.  The correction is made possible by the Topcon GPS reference stations that are positioned throughout the state.  These station are linked together by an internet connection and fed to a central server.  The server processes this data and provides correction to the filed via the internet.  These corrections can be single base line (correction to one station) or a modeled solution that accounts for the atmospheric conditions at all of the stations and uses that data to create a model.

The Pony Express will ride again on June 29, 2017
Submitted by Phil Fedor

The Phoenix JC Comancheros start their 29th annual horseback mail delivery relay event at 6am at the Boulder station post office (Rose Garden & Cave Creek Road).

I'm proud to announce that Bowman Consulting Group and Surveyor's Source have volunteered to sponsor my portion of the route this year.  The money raised by leg sponsorships and commemorative letter sales benefit a local charity called Horses Help.  They provide hippotherapy for kids with special needs and wounded warriors.

The route snakes it's way through New River, Black Canyon City, Bumblebee, Cleator and ends in Crown King for the night.  Friday at 6am, the mail leaves Crown King for Cleator, Cordes, Mayer, Pine Flat, Groom Creek and it's final destination in Prescott.
