Our annual ride from Black Hill Regional Park is a club tradition; this is the 22nd annual edition!

Don't forget to bring something delicious to share! This multi-grade, pot-luck picnic ride has attracted 150-200 riders in recent years; it’s a great  time for all and with so many riders, the potluck is amazing!  Bring the family and let them play by the lake or hike the park trails while you blast the hill and have them meet you after the rides end around 1:30.

Vienna on June 17 - one a beginner maintenance workshop, the other a intermediate/advanced workshop. Come to one or both! There will be an optional ride afterwards.

Space is limited to 27 participants. Reserve your space and pre-register today! Registration is suggested but not required.

Women & Wine Ride
Saturday, June 24
Potomac Pedalers and Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA) are co-sponsoring this friendly ride for women, to raise money for their Women and Bicycles (W&B) Program. What better way to do this than to combine a great ride in the country with a wine tasting afterwards?

We’ll start at end at Rockland’s Farm Winery and Market in Poolesville, where they offer delicious farm produce, fruits and veggies, pasture-raised meat, and award winning wine for sale. You can also order some delicious post-ride pizza for lunch.

This ride is $25 and requires pre-registration.

Virginia Countryside O-N-O
June 17-18
"One Night Overnight" rides (ONO for short) are low key and low cost mini bicycle vacations that start not more than a couple of hours from the Beltway and will usually entail an overnight stay.

This is a 52 mile per day rolling ride in pretty Virginia countryside from Orange, Virginia to Charlottesville, Virginia and back.

Bike to Work Day 2017:
Great Participation and Outreach
On a beautiful May Friday thousands of Washington area cyclists got on their bikes and celebrated Bike to Work Day. At the same time you may have been riding, PPTC’s  volunteers were representing the club at six strategic sites.
Shenandoah Weekend
July 7-9

Dreaming of summer, a cool mountain breeze, and spending some time poolside? Then mark your calendars for the Potomac Pedalers Shenandoah Valley Weekend. Based in Mt. Jackson, Virginia, the area is a fabulously bucolic place for cyclists — no sprawl, little traffic and plenty of corn.
Carlisle Weekend
August 11-13

The rides will remain in the same idyllic location of rolling farms, where you will have choices of a number of mileage options, with big climbs or just the lovely rolling country-side. We will also be riding through Boiling Springs! Lots to do for non-cycling partners as well.

NEW Membership Benefit: Ride with GPS club account
The club will soon be announcing a new benefit for club members: Ride With GPS Club Memebership.  Look for an email with more details soon.
