President's Letter
Dear ASID New Mexico Member,
 
As we roll right on along into the summer months our schedules get packed. Business is generally great this time of year and we all struggle with the balance between work and play. Get the most from your membership by making time to attend chapter events throughout the summer. Bring extra flare to your client’s summer projects after joining us for a CEU about Outdoor Kitchens in July. This summer there will also be several meet-and-greet opportunities, where you can get acquainted with new Industry Partners, discover new products, and share design experiences with others.

I hope you are receiving the fruits of the seasons influx of work but want to remind you to take time out for yourselves and your families. We all need to recharge every once in a while.

The ASID NM Chapter gathered to celebrate our members and another year of success as a Chapter. Thank you to all the designers, industry partners, educators and students who attended the event. We had a wonderful time and Hotel Chaco did not disappoint. Congratulations to Jan Bernson who won the door prize, a glass tile jewelry set, complements of Susan Chiasson, Suchi Design.

ShowHouse Santa Fe 2018 - A World of Taste

This year’s Show House Santa Fe will feature a unique concept of designers pairing up with local artistic chefs of the region inventing a fresh global experience for "A World of Taste". The designers will draw inspiration from their chef for creating amazing transformative interior spaces.

The Show House Santa Fe is a benefit for Dollars4Schools’ providing area public-school teachers with a local web-based “helping-hand” in funding classroom programs. To date Dollars4Schools has funded nearly 700 programs - including 92 in the current 2017-18 school year.

ShowHouse Albuquerque 2018
Exciting news! This year Albuquerque is also going to host a Show House that will benefit Polly's Run for Pancreatic Cancer.

The exact dates have not been set but it is planned for sometime in November. Stay tuned for more...
