Upcoming Meeting CANCELLED Meetings for the Waste Watchers of the Eastern Shore are typically held on the second Wednesday of every month from Noon until 2pm at the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce in Melfa. OUR JUNE 13TH MEETING IS CANCELLED. Please join us for our next meeting at 12:00pm on July 11th. Minutes from the May 9th meeting are here .

30th Annual Clean the Bay Day Operation Our Clean Roads Wow! 37 volunteers (and 2 tiny helper volunteers) cleaned up about a TON (literally, about 2,000 pounds!) - 73 bags, tires, chairs, boxes buckets, etc. - on almost 10 miles of beach and roads at Guard Shore on Saturday June 2nd! Thank you to the Arcadia High School's Hi-Y Club (image right), Tyson's group (image below), and local citizens for all your efforts today to beautiful the Shore, help prevent mosquito-borne illnesses, and reduce litter in the Chesapeake Bay!

The next Operation Our Clean Roads location is not yet determined, if you're interested in helping organize one in your neck of the woods, it could be in your neighborhood! We need YOUR help for these monthly clean up events! Please email wastewatchersintern@gmail.com with questions, suggestions for dates, when you're available to help, and locations for other future cleanups!
