JUNE MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
You can still plant your container and B&B trees - provide adequate water and use fertilome Fish Emulsion Fertilizer to help prevent transplant shock.
Remove all dead branches on established trees.
Remain alert for insect damage on flowers, shrubs and trees. Spider mites begin to appear during warm weather months.
Seeding of warm-season grasses should be completed by the end of June.
Post-emergent control of crabgrass and summer annual grasses is best performed when weeds first emerge using ferti-lome's Weed Out with Q. This product kills Crabgrass, Dandelion, Clover, plus 200 other listed weeds.
Apply SEDGEHAMMER Turf Herbicide to eliminate yellow and purple nutsedge.
