Leadership Training and Board Meeting

The Leadership Training (webinar) will take place on Wednesday, July 24, followed by the Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26 at the Westin Hotel in Long Beach.

ACEC California has negotiated a discounted rate of $159. To make room reservations at this discounted room rate, please contact the Westin Long Beach by calling (562) 436-3000.

EEA Intent to Enter

Important EEA Deadlines:

June 1, 2019

Intent to Enter information is sent to all firms.

July 1, 2019

The Official Entry Form will be available on-line ( www.acec-ca.org ).

July 31, 2019

Intent to Enter deadline. (Official entry will still be accepted after this date).

September 27, 2019

Deadline for submission of Official Entry form and delivery of completed project to ACEC California office.

Early November 2019

Judging will take place and results will be announced.

January 3, 2020

ACEC National EEA deadline for submission ( www.acec.org ) .

February 13, 2020

ACEC California Awards banquet in Los Angeles, California

April 28, 2020

ACEC National Awards banquet in Washington, DC.

ACEC California Members can purchase the survey for $300 or $350 with our E-Survey Raw Data at this link .

Please ensure you are logged in to receive member pricing.

This year we received more participants than ever and we have a 15% increase in employees covered by the survey, ensuring our most comprehensive and robust salary survey to date.

The survey is a comprehensive planning resource for making compensation and benefit decisions as well as identifying prevailing business trends.

Scholarship Raffle and Silent Auction Prizes Needed

Each ACEC California chapter is asked to make a donation to the 2019 Scholarship Raffle. This year we will again have a silent auction in conjunction with the raffle.

Some items donated will be used for the silent auction and may be combined with other donated prizes (sponsorship of the prizes will be attributed to all donors).

We are happy to purchase prizes on its behalf if the chapter would like to make a cash donation. Please contact Stephanie Reed at sreed@acec-ca.org for more information or to make a donation.

Caltrans Website Modification

In 2017, AB 434 was signed by Governor Brown requiring state agency websites to be compliant with, "specified accessibility standards" by July 1, 2019.

ACEC California will be providing additional information to members regarding the required changes, as well as what to expect as Caltrans updates their website to meet state requirements. Please watch for our next update.
