The History of GPS Spoofing

Mr. Dana Goward, is President of the Resilient Navigation and Timing Foundation, will be explaining the development of GPS and GNSS spoofing from a fiction account in film to being an everyday problem. Based a recent report by the non-profit Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS) identified almost 10,000 instances of ship's Global Positioning System (GPS) devices being spoofed by Russian interference.

The INCOSE-CC Youth STEM Outreach Committee (CC-YSOC) has begun meeting prior to the chapter's monthly dinners. If you have interest in helping to grow our youth outreach efforts and would like to participate on this committee, please join us. 

Our next meeting will be held at the JHU APL cafeteria at 5pm on June, 19th.

The INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter (CC) Board of Directors (BOD) needs your assistance and is seeking candidates to fill the following positions in 2020:
  • President-Elect: Term is 3 years (President-Elect, President and then Past President);
  • Secretary: Term is 2 years;
  • Programs Director: Term is 2 years; and Membership Director: Term is 2 years

On May 15, 2019, Dr. Howard Eisner presented an overview on his new book “Thinking: a Guide Book for Systems Engineering Problem-Solving” by using just 7 slides. He explained some 15 new ways of thinking and applications to systems engineering
