Bacon in the 'Boro, The South River Music Festival
1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
The Wayne Theatre presents Bacon in the 'Boro: The South River Music Festival along the banks of the South River in Constitution Park. Gates will open at 1 PM with music starting at 3 PM. Join us for this music and food festival with local food (can you say bacon?), craft beer, cider and wine, activities for children including a tent from the Blue Ridge Children's Museum and yard games including cornhole and Jenga.
Great music accompanied by good food and kids activities led by Blue Ridge Children's Museum. Grab your spot in the grass, spread your blanket, grab a bite at the food truck, then kick back and relax. The band starts at 6:00 pm. Come out and rock out!
The Mud Run (5-12 yr olds) and Fun Dash (3-5 yr olds) wind through the fields and trails of Waynesboro's Ridgeview Park. Whether traversing the balance beams, crawling through the mud pit, or sliding to victory on the giant slip n' slide, your kids are guaranteed to have a good time!
It wouldn't be summer without a local carnival, and this one benefits the Dooms Fire Department. On Tuesday through Thursday, the carnival is open from 6 PM - 10 PM. On Friday and Saturday, carnival hours are from 6 PM -11 PM.
