A Message from the Director

Happy Summer!
Summer typically is the busiest time at EPICentre as the full-time RBC EPIC Founders Program is in full swing. We are hosting many free Lunch N' Learn workshop series for startups looking to learn the basics in finance & accounting, marketing & sales and law in the summer, so be sure to check out our Events Page for details. The 2nd Libro EPIC Social Impact Initiative has also just begun this month. Throughout the summer, we will host a series of workshops on social innovation and social enterprise, leading to the Libro EPIC Social Enterprise Pitch Competition in September where up to four social enterprises will be selected to participate in the 2nd Libro EPIC Social Enterprise accelerator program in fall 2019.
Last but not least, I'd like to welcome Gabriel Cavalho dos Santos, an undergraduate student from Federal University of Sao Paolo (UNIFESP) in Brazil to EPICentre. Co-funded by Mitacs Globalink Research Award and University of Windsor, Gabriel joins Anna Paula Bento Costa who came in April in a 16-week program, working on various research projects for EPICentre and Dr. Francine Schlosser, Odette Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Please give a warm Windsor Welcome to Gabriel the next time you come to EPICentre.
Thank you again for your support!
