Hamilton Area Veteran’s Memorial Special Project Fund
The Hamilton Area Veteran’s Fund is a short-term, special project fund. The Fund was established to raise money for the planning, designing, building, and landscaping of the Hamilton Area Veteran’s Memorial. The memorial is being designed similarly to the Veteran’s Memorial in Dorr, MI (see photos) and will be erected on the grounds of the Heath Township Hall.

The Allegan County Community Foundation is the fiduciary for the Hamilton Area Veteran's Memorial Fund. Donations and payments for brick pavers or benches are to be made to the Allegan County Community Foundation (PO Box 278 Allegan MI 49010). Checks should be made out to: ACCF with HAVM on the memo line. Questions about donations, please call the Foundation at: 269.673.8344.

Questions about brick pavers or benches, please Helen Zeerip at: 616.836.7949. (Please be sure to include an order form with your payment.)

The Foundation is honored to work in partnership with Heath Township,
Helen Zeerip, and the residents of Hamilton as we honor those who serve and have served.

Because hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation...
Our 2019 cereal drive to help families whose children receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch ended April 30, 2019. Summertime can be especially difficult with increased food costs once children are home all day. The goal of the drive was 30,000 boxes, enough to provide one box, per child, per week for the summer months for those children whose families visit food pantries in Allegan County. Nearly 6,000 people are served by the sixteen-member pantries of the ACFPC – 3,000 of whom are children.

We collected 12,000 boxes this year - an increase from last year! Thank you to all who donated. We will continue this important drive annually and continue to look for business partners to donate and match donations. Please contact Tracey at (269) 207-6409 if your business has interest. To all the individuals who dropped off cereal at drop sites - every box makes a difference. You can see the story of Walter , a specially marked box of cereal in our July Non-Profit Spotlight. We have followed the journey of this box of cereal from the time it was donated by Shannon, to the time it was received by this beautiful little girl here in Allegan County.
You can make a monetary donation to the
