Book of the Month

About The Book   Click Here
What Love Becomes traces two marriages from their idealistic, yet misguided beginnings. As the years go by long simmering tensions explode and the couples' lives intertwine. At its heart, this story is about the choices we make, how they shape our lives, and how our innate resilience propels us toward reclaiming the lost parts of ourselves.

In 2019 Marco Island Writers once again extend a heartfelt handshake and thank you for your membership and support. Membership entitles you to all the regular meetings, promotion of your books, short stories and poetry on the website, member rates to any event requiring admission, and reciprocity with Gulf Coast Writers to attend their meetings at their member rates.  One other advantage for our Members is The Members' Edition of the Newsletter which contains a special section with speaker handouts, tips, tricks and professional advice. Supporters and Guests also contribute and are given a Guest Edition Copy of our Newsletter, minus the handouts, tips, tricks and professional advice section. Thanks you to our Supporters and Guests!

Again in 2019, and with your support, we continue to move forward with our goals of encouragement and help to budding writers. We hope that, even if you can't attend every meeting, or serve on a committee, you know your participation has made a difference in the writing community. We continually strive to bring quality speakers and workshops to our members.
