Congratulations Class of 2019
The Resurrection College Prep High School Class of 2019 celebrated their Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement ceremony at Holy Name Cathedral on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Sixteen students were the daughters or granddaughters of Resurrection alumnae and during the Baccalaureate Mass they participated in a rose ceremony to acknowledge their alumnae heritage.

Special congratulations to Valedictorian Angela ChristieSalutatorian Sarah Erickson, Sr. Anne Award recipient Giang Vu, and Principal's Award recipient Kayla DiFranco.
Members of the Resurrection Class of 2019 were awarded over $16.5 million in scholarships and awards from colleges and universities nationwide, which is the highest per student award in Resurrection history, with an average student award of $158,000.

Congratulations to all Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Track & Field and Water Polo team members who celebrated the season at the
 Spring Athletic Banquet on June 5, 2019.

Athletic Boosters 

Resurrection Athletic Boosters continues to run a  Wrigley Field concession stand in the bleachers (the Red Line Grill, stand 4022) as a fundraising activity of the Resurrection Athletic Boosters.  If you are in the bleachers at a Cubs  game, come visit the stand! Interested in volunteering to support the Res Athletic Boosters at Wrigley Field? See info about volunteering here .

Resurrection Main Office Summer Hours

June 3 to August 4 , 2019

The Main Office will be open Mondays through Thursdays
 from 8 am to noon and closed on Fridays.

Regular hours will resume on August 5.

Second Semester Honor Roll

Congratulations to our students who have been named to the honor roll for the 
Second Semester of the 2018-19 school year.

Staff & Faculty Awards

Congratulations to Resurrection staff and faculty who were presented with special awards at the annual staff luncheon on May 22, 2019.  The award recipients were Director of Development and alumna Alisa Martorano, Respected Colleague Award; Social Studies teacher and alumna Denise Lenihan, Outstanding Educator Award; and Religious Studies Teacher and Chamber Orchestra Director Mike Longo, Christian Witness Award. 

Congratulations also to Resurrection staff and faculty who were honored for their years of service at Resurrection, including the following: 5 years - Mary Katherine Bohlander, Merle Green, Mirek Kowaslski and Jeanette Saponaro; 10 years - Sr. Mary Anne Meyer,  SSSF; 25 years - Lesley Coakley; 30 years - John Lizak; 35 years - Tamara Bernardin, Caryl King and Steve Sutter.

We are so grateful for all of the dedication and outstanding service of all of our faculty and staff!

Book of Gratitude Submissions for Mr. Longo
After 43 years teaching at Resurrection, special congratulations to Mr. Mike Longo as he transitions to a new role at Resurrection. Mr. Longo will continue on as Chamber Orchestra Director, substitute teacher, and a club moderator for Key Club, Celtic Club and Modern Music Masters (Tri-M) Honor Society.  Mr. Longo will also continue helping to coordinate the Northwest Side Hunger Walk and will teach adult enrichment courses in the fall and spring - watch for information about his fall course, "Darkness in the Light of Democracy."

Students, parents, alumnae and colleagues are invited to submit words of gratitude to be included in a book of gratitude that will be presented to Mr. Longo as he transitions to his new role at Resurrection.
