What a wonderful opportunity I have been granted to serve the members of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce and this community of northwest Harris County. My two years executing the economic development strategies of Grow Northwest have afforded me the ability to become familiarized and grow to appreciate the many outstanding qualities of this area of greater Houston. I am excited to continue working on our strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering the area economy and enhancing the quality of life experience for all businesses, residents and visitors.
As with any change in leadership, expect to see some changes in both how the Chamber operates and its strategic direction. However, proper and healthy change does not occur in a vacuum or by the singular wisdom of an individual. It must come as a collective. Therefore, part of the process for guiding our ship in the proper direction is to garner input from as many of you as possible on what you would most like to see from your chamber of commerce moving forward. We want to know from you what we are good at, where we can do better, what are we not doing that we should be, and what should we not be doing at all?
takes you to a very brief, and to-the-point survey. We want to hear from anyone who has a stake and interest in the health of the northwest Houston community, members and non-members alike. The information collected is confidential and will be aggregated into guiding our strategic plan for 2020 and beyond. The more surveys we get back, the better our data. So, please take a few moments to complete it.
This community has great bones which will serve as the foundation for advancing our potential. I am highly encouraged about the possibilities in front of us. So, hop on the bus and enjoy the ride.
