Working Hard and Playing Hard
We have been hard at work for our clients in this difficult season

...not just in the office, but also out and about. We took some time out of the office last week to help clean up flooding in local businesses.  Although it was sad to see the damage, our hearts were filled as our community came together to help one another.

In addition to volunteering, we are enjoying our summer hours as well!  We encourage you to promote healthy work-life balance for your staff.

We offer employee assistance programs and many ancillary benefit options to help achieve just that - ask your Advisor today!

Summer hours for May through August are:
8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Thursday,
8:00am - 2:30pm Fridays.

Priority: Safe Client Consultations
This year and always, the health, safety and peace of mind of our clients has been our top priority.

As we considered how to continue to provide the one on one consulting that our clients value, we had to get creative - so we now have a drive-up space for easy access to a safe and clean meeting space for our clients. This space will be disinfected between client meetings and will offer hand sanitizer and masks to those that need them. The desk has a plexiglass barrier and the meeting space prevents our clients from needing to walk through our office to the conference room, thus reducing exposure to our staff and other clients.

Help Keep Your Data Current
For the sake of compliance, we require all employers to send us a list of new hires and terminations as they happen.

The continued accuracy of your company census is important, as it allows for timely enrollments and terminations and helps you avoid complex payroll changes and billing issues.

Along with sending you the emailed or faxed monthly update request, we have created a simple form that you can fill out and send to us as changes happen, rather than waiting for us to request them.

To view and save the form please

*Be sure to save the link as a favorite so that you can update us any time you have changes.

No time for the form? You can also email Belinda with your changes. Be sure to include hire date and salary information, or termination date.

Monthly Tip!
Drug prices can vary wildly between pharmacies, even if you have prescription coverage in your health plan.
Be a wise consumer and do a little bit of research before heading out to pick up that script!

GoodRx* finds the lowest prices and discounts. How?
  1. Collect and compare prices for every FDA-approved prescription drug at more than 70,000 U.S. pharmacies
  2. Find free coupons to use at the pharmacy
  3. Show the lowest price at each pharmacy near you
Pass along this helpful tip to your employees!

*we are not paid by GoodRx to promote them, we just want to make sure our clients are saving money anywhere they can!

Spotlight: Covid-19 Carrier Details
As our state has opened, we still have employers asking us about their health coverage and Covid-19.

We have complied a list of resources from our carriers to help answer your questions:

The U.S. Department of Labor has created excellent resource material for both employees and employers to understand their rights and obligations.

For employers, please refer to this link:
This is a summary of the leave requirements of the act and how employers can earn "dollar-for-dollar reimbursement through tax credits for all qualifying wages paid under the FFCRA". It's important to note that "applicable tax credits also extend to amounts paid or incurred to maintain health insurance coverage."

New Consultation Space
As Ohio reopened, we had to revisit the way we do business - for the continued safety of our clients and staff.

If you do business with us this year, you will see some changes. In addition to holding more meetings via zoom and conference call, we have restructured our office to allow our immune compromised and elderly clients to use a separate entrance for a safe one on one consultation. We are blessed to have this space and hope it provides peace of mind to all who visit us.
