Summer is here and that is always Bumps, Bites and Bruise season!
Make sure that you are prepared both at home and on the road for the 3 B's.
Have a reusable ice pack to use at home, but while you are on the road, it may be a good idea to carry and instant ice pack with you in your first aid kit or duffel bag for immediate use.
Make sure you have a first aid kit in the car, especially if you are going to be traveling or going to outdoor sporting events. Hydrocortisone cream, After-Bite Itch stick, Triple Antibiotic ointment and Benadryl cream are always good to have on hand, as well as bandaids and gauze bandages. The topical creams listed above should cover most first aid needs that could arise while you are out and about. Make sure you also have an oral form of Benadryl with you in your first aid kit or duffel bag---especially since summer means Bee Stings. You will want Benadryl on hand to treat any reactions from Bee stings as soon as possible.
Also, don't forget to always wear and pack your sunscreen to prevent sun burns, and you also might want to have some aloe vera gel or lotion on hand to apply in case you do get a sunburn.
