West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union and Commonwealth Financial Services are proud to support area educators through Stuff the Bus. Historically, we have engaged sponsors and worked with the community to collect and distribute bags of school supplies to our area teachers - but due to COVID-19 we are planning on taking a different approach. In 2020, we will be making cash donations to teachers to use for their classroom supplies. We plan to mail checks to teachers in early August. This approach will allow teachers to get specifically what they need and cut down on contact during this time.
We don't know what the school year 2020-2021 will hold just yet, but we want to have the backs of area educators no matter what the coming school year brings.
We invite the community to partner with us - and we will match donations up to $5000 to help meet the huge response we have already seen. We currently have 615 teachers signed up from our six county area! Click below to learn more or donate.
