Resources Regarding COVID-19
The Underserved TA Team has curated a  COVID-19 Resource Guide on the ALSO website that is tailored to Underserved grantees that include population specific resources, organizational preparedness resources, wellness resources, and information from OVW. We will continue to add more resources as they become relevant and available to us.
VAWA MEI Underserved Populations Program Reporting Webinar

Underserved TA Save-the-Date Announcement!
The ALSO Underserved TA Team is excited to announce the topics, facilitators, and dates for a series of six virtual trainings over the course of this summer. Attendance is not mandatory, however, we strongly encourage all funded project staff, including from partner organizations to participate in as many of these virtual offerings as possible. More details about registration forthcoming. The Way Forward: Shaping the Future with Culturally Specific Innovations

This dynamic virtual roundtable will highlight the need to lift up the pre-pandemic innovations being made by culturally specific organizations in reaching and supporting survivors from communities of color. Participants will be provided with culturally specific responses that extend beyond leaving, going to shelter, and calling the police. Participants will also hear what survivors and advocates of color are seeing, hearing, and feeling in their communities. 

Faith Matters: Supporting Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Survivors of Domestic Violence

This workshop will help advocates adopt a faith-sensitive lens and best practices for supporting families who are guided by their faith. Participants will learn how faith can be a resource or a barrier to hope, help, and healing, gain insight into faith-specific understandings, be aware of best practices and resources for engaging faith leadership as allies, and begin to strategize for working with them in their communities.

Resilience, Trauma & Hope: A Healing Response - Webinar II of the Self-Care & Healing During COVID-19 Series
