Class of 2020 Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of our scholarship donors, the Pasco Education Foundation awarded 119 scholarships to graduating seniors in 18 Pasco County High Schools valued at $235,650. Unfortunately due to the circumstances this year, our annual Scholarship Awards Banquet was unable to be held in person. Pasco Curbing Hunger
FLORIDA MEDICAL CLINIC FOUNDATION OF CARING

Due to these uncertain times, the Pasco Education Foundation has been encountering uncharted waters. We have had to pivot some of our focus to support more of our community outside of the classroom, to needs like the Pasco Curbing Hunger program. These opportunities will help us focus on our students and families in this time of need, while still continuing our mission.

So it gives us tremendous pleasure to announce that we have been awarded a $15,000 Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring Grant for the Pasco Curbing Hunger Program. Florida Medical Clinic is committed to be a catalyst for community change. Their approach has always been to fund needs-based projects and programs. Now more than ever, nonprofits are forced to face the reality of how much one unforeseen event can disrupt their mission. Thank you!
Another thank you to Tampa Bay Sporting Clays & Archery for the generous donation of $2,500 from a recent fundraiser for the Pasco Curbing Hunger program. Thank you Mike and team for your support.

Thank you Cinderella Ball Attendees!
And a final thank you to our friends and partners for your amazing support of our 15th Annual Cinderella Ball held March 7th, 2020 presented by Ajax Building Company, Harvard Jolly Architecture, and Suncoast Credit Union. Proceeds from this event benefit the many programs of the Pasco Education Foundation such as scholarships, creative teaching grants, and recognition events for students and district employees.

The Pasco Education Foundation and Take Stock in Children Pasco are still working on your side with the continual goal of providing support for our programs to advance student achievement. In light of the recent circumstances regarding COVID-19, we have given this a great deal of thought and have decided to move forward with our planned 21 st annual “Swing for the Kids” golf tournament on October 16, 2020 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club . The funds raised from this event have always been critical in providing the needed resources to ensure every student has access to high-quality education. Now more than ever, it is vital that we continue our fundraising efforts as we see more students experiencing even greater hardships.
