Program Continuation & Unit Activities
Units are asking when they can return to meetings and activities. The council announced in May and provided guidance for units to resume program. That information can be found here .

District Leadership is offering the following guidance on resuming in-person activities:

  • Units should know what city, county, and state restrictions are in place before resuming
  • Units should work with their Chartered Organization Representative to see what, if any, restrictions are in place to resume in-person activities
  • In-person activities should be limited to participants that are feeling well and have not been ill in the past 2 weeks
  • Units should practice social distancing and proper hygiene at all events
  • Units should offer a "hybrid" meeting format for those families that are not comfortable in attending in-person activities
  • If a meeting allows it, continue to offer a virtual format too for those at home to join in with the in-person group
  • If camping, could there be an opportunity for families and others at home to participate
  • Be flexible and understanding of all our families and "Do Your Best"

Experience a unique taste of summer with Adventure Days at Camp Naish! Great for dens or patrols!

Advancement Updates
Leaders are encouraged to continue to provide program for their Scouts during this time, and that means staying up-to-date with advancement changes from Cubs to Eagle.

The district will be continuing to offer virtual review and approval of Eagle projects, and Board of Reviews in June. Units are encouraged to work with their Chartered Organization and their sponsoring partners to determine the best path forward to group activities and meetings.
