Cancer and Mental Health

In May, we partnered with GRYT Health to honor Mental Health Awareness Month with a program discussing the challenges and concerns following a cancer diagnosis. CancerCare's Charlotte Ference, LMSW, shared resources and advice and answered questions during the event, titled "Cancer and Your Mental Health: Dealing with Cancer Emotionally."

A Summer of Golf

Are you a golf warrior? CancerCare hosts a series of golfing events called “The Longest Day of Golf.” From June through September, players try to complete as many holes of golf in the course of one day as they can – from sun up until sun down – often 100 holes or more.

Players get support from their friends, colleagues and relatives to raise much needed funds.

To learn more about this event, please contact CancerCare’s Director of Special Events, Erica Lebensberg, at elebensberg@cancercare.org.
