HFHWM REMEMBERS SCOTT CARTER
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of one of the most beautiful souls we have ever been blessed to know, crew leader Scott Carter.

Scott volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury for more than 20 years, helping to build homes and never missing a chance to get his hands dirty. When he first joined us, Scott was a shy, hardworking man who quickly grew into a passionate leader and inspiration to us all. Scott was always the first person on site, the last to leave, and a never ending source of laughter, love, patience, and strength. To say he will be deeply missed is a grand understatement but he will forever live on in our hearts and in those of his family, friends, and fellow volunteers.
HELP US HOST A BLOOD DRIVE
Help save lives!
We are working with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive and need 30 people willing to participate before the Red Cross can allocate a date.

If you are willing to donate, please email your name and phone number to Julie Franklin at jfranklin@hfhwm.org. Once we know the drive date, we will reach out to see if you are available. If that day doesn't work for you, that is not a problem. Thank you for helping support the Red Cross during this severe blood shortage!

Know a homeowner who is struggling financially to make an essential repair to their home?

Eligibility requirements and applications are available on the HFHWM website or at the HFHWM administration office at 109 Noah Dr., Franklin, TN 37064. All applications and required documentation must be turned in via mail or in person to the HFHWM admin office. For questions, please contact Scott Barker at 615.690.8090.

(Photo above: Ms. Walker's roof was leaking into four rooms of her home as well as directly onto her HVAC unit. In addition, many of Augusta’s electrical outlets were nonfunctional, forcing her to run extension cords to other rooms. The electrician also noted that her switches crackled and smelled of smoke when flipped. We were able to fix her roof and re-shingle it. We also repaired her faulty wiring and installed a new electrical panel to keep her safe.)
