Farms are encouraged to complete the 2021 Durham Region Business Count online
The Durham Region Business Count is back! As part of the annual project to gather employment statistics and build a stronger local economy, Durham Region businesses can expect a knock on their door this summer. Business count surveyors will be reaching out to all businesses between May and August by in-person visits, phone, or email.
Due to the detection of pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) in Ontario, surveyors will not be conducting in-person visits on farms at this time. Durham Region farm operators and farm businesses are encouraged to complete the business count online.
