New York State is the place for bio/med innovation and healthcare product development. Its assets are unparalleled: the nation’s highest concentration of world-class universities and research institutions; a highly educated workforce; a location easily accessible to North America’s leading bio/med and transportation hubs; ample low-cost, sustainable power sources; and abundant, affordable manufacturing capacity.
By leveraging these strengths, cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany have transformed themselves into life sciences hotspots while the Hudson Valley, the Finger Lakes, the Southern Tier and the North Country have taken advantage of their own unique strengths to create micro-regions attractive to manufacturing and entrepreneurship.
We will be partnering with government, regional economic development agencies, leading academic research centers, and private industry to present EmpireStateFocus’22, an interactive online series that casts a spotlight on five New York innovation regions and their bio/med assets.
Join us on Thursdays in June and July (virtually) as we explore our state’s unique strengths and the reasons you should start, locate, or grow your life sciences business in New York State. We’ll showcase the regions’ leading bio/med assets, connect you to the programs and institutions building New York’s bio/med future and introduce you to the movers and shakers propelling New York forward. Each program will also feature an exclusive insider’s look at each region’s most cutting-edge bio/med innovations.
Please note: There are unique registration links for each program. Register for one or more!
