June is here and summer has officially begun! Looking for fun and educational activities for your children? Check out our Summer Activity Guide. There’s a program for everyone, including swim lessons, dance, soccer, tennis, STEAM programs, camps, and more! These classes fill up quickly, so be sure to sign up soon!
 
With the summer heating up, there's no better place to cool off than the Aquatics Center! Your CRC membership includes full access to the Aquatics Center all summer long. You can splash around on the water playground, splash into the pool from one of our two large water slides, all while enjoying a break from the heat. Have a great start to your summer!


Aquatics Summer Season-Monday, June 6
Recreation swimming at the Aquatics Center starts on Monday, June 6. Like last year, CRC/AC members have priority access at 12pm each day, 30 minutes before opening for general admission!
 
AC Recreation Swim Hours
Monday - Friday: 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm
CRC/AC Member access begins at 12:00 pm daily, before opening for general admission. Members do not require reservations.

New CRC and AC pool schedules will be effective Monday, June 6. Please review the schedules for updates to lap swim and aqua fitness classes-including the CRC slide (on Saturdays) and new indoor CRC aqua fitness classes!

New Lifeguard Training Class just added! Register and take a Red Cross Lifeguard Training course and get certified to be a lifeguard this summer!
 
LIFEGUARD TRAINING CLASS
This lifeguard class is a blended learning class, you will need to finish the online training before the first class session on June 13. This course, based on the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program, will certify students in Lifeguarding, CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid. Students must be 15 years of age by the last day of class and pass a swimming pre-test. Attendance at every class is required. If hired with the City of Morgan Hill and after working 10 lifeguard shifts teammate will be eligible for reimbursement of this training course. Register online at mhreconline.com! Grand Opening of the Magical Bridge Morgan Hill Playground
Join us for the Grand Opening of the Magical Bridge Morgan Hill Playground on June 4, 2022! Remarks and ribbon cutting begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the official opening of the playground, and activities and performances into the afternoon. Mini Golf - Located at the Aquatics Center
This summer we have a 18-hole mini golf course located next to the Aquatics Center. Course is open during recreation swim times and tickets can be purchased online when you purchase general admission tickets to the Aquatics Center. If you are interested in just booking tickets for mini golf, please visit our website.
Gym Schedule for East and West Gym
Interested in Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball or Badminton? You can find our open gym schedule online. Please contact Debbie.Vasquez@mhcrc.com if you have questions, or would like to make a suggestion about the schedule.

Adult Basketball
We are excited to announce that our Adult Basketball Registration is now open and will close on June 8. Our Recreational League will be offered Monday evenings and Competitive League will be on Wednesday evenings. Games will be played at 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm. This league is team sign-up only. Individual players are welcome to sign-up as a free agent but are not guaranteed to be placed on a team. The season will have 10 games and includes playoffs for teams that qualify. Teams can have up to 12-players on a roster. Teen Center
The Teen Center hosts a variety of social, academic, and recreational activities, such as tournaments, movie nights, tutoring, and more. The Teen Center staff and volunteers are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and asset rich environment for our community’s teens. The Teen Center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4pm-8pm.

Senior Center
The Senior Center is open Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm for Programs and Services, please be sure to stop by and see what we are offering, or check out our schedule of activities here
 
The Senior Nutrition Program is available Monday-Friday. The Café registration table and dining hall open at 10:30am and lunch is served at 11:30am. Meals are a voluntary contribution of $3 for Seniors over 60 years and $8 for those under 60 years of age.  Lunch Menu

Brain Health Workshop

Karaoke will be starting again June 24 and will be happening the fourth Friday of every month. Come join the fun!
Youth Leadership Morgan Hill
Are you a teenager or have a teenager between the ages of 13-18 who lives in or attends school in Morgan Hill? Do you want to make an impact in your community? Would you like to earn Community Service hours? The Youth Action Council (YAC) consists of a group of dedicated teen leaders with the main goal of representing the teen voices in the Morgan Hill community. YMCA Silicon Valley Access 
YSV Access is back! Active qualifying* CRC members will now have access to visit the other YMCA of Silicon Valley (YSV) branches at no additional cost. As part of this membership benefit, active members will also have access to the Y360 - Virtual YMCA programming and classes.
 
To get access to all YSV branches and Y360 – Virtual YMCA programming, set up your YSV Access account. The Y360 - Virtual YMCA program will replace the current CRC Virtual Membership programming. Our membership Facebook group will remain a space for membership communications, updates, and more! Our on-demand videos will also remain available to active members online at www.mhcrcmembers.com (password: crcvirtual20). If you have any questions, please contact jessica.redfield@mhcrc.com.
