William Pruitt '23 (pictured in the middle) recorded an excellent 79 in the 1st round of the IHSAA State Golf Finals at the Prairie View Golf Course on June 14. After a rough opening nine holes, William made two birdies on the incoming nine for an even-par 36. The 79 put him in a tie for 38th out of 100 golfers after the 1st round.

On June 15, the second day of the finals, William shot an excellent 82. He recorded three (3) birdies on his 2nd nine holes for a one-over-par 37. The two-day score of 161 (79+82) put him in a tie for 49th place out of 100 of the best HS golfers in the State.
Congratulations William and team on a great 2022 season!
Athletic Banners
Calling all alumni athletes! During our recent spring cleaning we came across over a hundred sports athletic banners, some dating back to 1969. If you were on or coached one of these teams and would like to have some memorabilia for your home or office we are giving them away. It is first come first serve. Here is a list of all the sport championship banners we have.

Class Reunions
Class reunions will be here before we know it! Planning is currently underway. Please check out the reunion website to see upcoming plans for your class reunion. 

If your graduation year ends in a 2 or 7, it's time to plan your reunion. We still need class planners for the following years: 1967, 1977, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2007 & 2017. Please reach out to Anne Homan '06 at ahoman@bishopchatard.org if you are interested in planning a reunion for your class.

Boys Soccer Alumni Game

Calling all BCHS Alumni Boy’s Soccer players: Play soccer at BCHS once again at the boy’s soccer alumni match. This will be held on Friday, July 22, at 7 p.m. at the BCHS stadium.

Any former soccer player who represented the boys soccer team is welcome to attend for a fun night of soccer. Questions? Contact head coach Michael Carney at mcarney@bishopchatard.org.
"The Feud Before the Feud" is on Sept. 8
Bishop Chatard and Cathedral High Schools are coming together for a community cause in support of families dealing with Muscular Dystrophy. "The Feud Before the Feud" will take place on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 6-9:30 p.m., at the Northside Events & Social Club (the former Knights of Columbus). It will be a nostalgic night of memories, football flashbacks and decades of coaches.
