Brooklyn, Canterbury

& Scotland Book Club

Join us on Tuesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. for a book discussion at Canterbury Public Library. This month we are reading and discussing the ALL CT Reads adult selection for 2022. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi. If you'd like to participate virtually, contact the library for the Zoom link.

Summer Reading at the Library

Sign up for the Read Beyond the Beaten Path program at the library beginning June 21. You will receive a packet with all the details and we will have a drop-in craft. The program is open to all ages with something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Help your child prepare for school by reading to them everyday. Join the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the library.

It's easy:

stop by the library to pick up your packet.
keep a journal of all the books you share with your child
bring in your reading log for a prize to mark each milestone.
