From the Executive Director
Thank you to those of who you took the time to complete our brief survey about our newsletter last month. CILO is appreciative of your feedback and insights. It was reaffirming to know that we are effective in sharing useful information in an easy-to-read newsletter.
This effort for continuous quality improvement is directly related to our strategic plan that will enter its third and final year on July 1. This has been a very organic process by which our staff, board, consumers, and supporters have come together to help guide us as an organization. In this final year of our strategic plan, we will be focusing on the following areas:
- CILO will expand and continue to improve our Information and Referral, one of our core services. It is our intention to respond to every inquiry we receive with accurate information and resources.
- CILO will strive to enhance and expand professional development of our staff including during our monthly staff meetings.
- CILO will continue to build, strengthen, and establish new collaborative efforts with providers of services for people with disabilities in Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
We will continue to review our strategic plan and assess our progress monthly through a workgroup of staff members, and with our board. I am pleased that we have made so much progress over the last two years and shall continue to work towards our vision of being a recognized leader of quality and innovative services that promote independent living for people with disabilities.
