June 2022
If you wonder why you are always seeing beautiful pictures of mountains, creeks, foliage, or flowers in our newsletters, it is because we love where we live and just want to share them with you!
See what I mean?
It is HOT outside! Here are a few quick projects to keep you cool this summer

Amy has just finished Anker's Summer Top.

She used three skeins of Ella Rae Impressionist yarn, a lightweight cotton, linen and viscose blend. Each skein looks like a watercolor painting.

It is perfect for these hot summer days.

We're literally swooning over this crocheted Katia Soft Lino Shawl Amy just finished. It is crocheted with one skein of Katia Soft Lino. The shawl pattern is free with a purchase of a skein of Katie Soft Lino.

Uchiwa is here! Yep, you read that right. The word Uchiwa (pronounced just like it looks), is used to describe a traditional Japanese fan used to create a breeze in hot weather. This new Noro yarn is made out of cotton, viscose and silk and will keep you cool throughout the summer. Look at the adorable summer top pattern in the picture to get an idea of what you can make with this yarn. Pattern is free with purchase of any skein of Uchiwa.
