Arts & Crafts
Still to come this summer are five more arts & crafts classes to keep your creative juices flowing.

Anne Johann's online class on Drawing: An Invaluable Skill and a Fascinating Medium (Course 11775) begins on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Students will start with pencil, graphite, and charcoal, and later add pen and ink/ink wash to draw from still life arrangements and photographs.

On Monday, July 10, 2023, Katie Goldberg introduces Painting Loose Florals in Watercolor and Gouache (Course 11931). Explore different techniques for capturing flowers and flora in water-based media. Once that three-week class ends, she will begin Mixed Media Demystified (Course 11936) on Monday, July 31, 2023, teaching students techniques for monoprinting, collage, assemblage, mark making, and painting, to create multi-layered unique artworks.

Vincent Davis will lead Cartooning for Beginners (Course 11888), rescheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Learn to draw outrageously funny cartoon characters, create action figures using just twenty-five basic shapes, and tap into how cartoonists write jokes for their strips.
Robin Ingram's final basket-weaving class of the semester will be on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, when students will make their own Summer Tray Basket (Course 11742) over the course of a day. Enjoy the camaraderie and leave at the end of class with a basket that can be used for home entertaining.
