Support Groups

Have You Thought About Checking Out One of Our Support Groups?

If you want to find a sense of community, connection, and new friends, consider the benefit of one of our support groups. Whether you are a person living with an injury, a family member or caregiver, there is a group for you. BIAC has a large network of groups to choose from – both in-person and virtual!

Share your story and inspire others, or perhaps listen to someone else’s story and gain a sense of hope and guidance from their personal experience along the journey of living with a brain injury. Never any obligation – share and talk at whatever level you are comfortable with. If you find benefit in attendance, you can return as often as you would like. We invite you to try out a few groups and find which one best fits your needs – all free of cost to you.

United Steel Foundation Golf Tournament

Thank you, United Steel Foundation!

BIAC wishes to thank the United Steel Foundation for making BIAC the primary recipient of funds raised at their inaugural Golf Tournament, held at TPC River Highlands on May 22nd. One hundred and twenty-eight golfers enjoyed a truly spectacular day. We are immensely grateful for the generous Sponsors, the Live Auction donors and bidders, and TPC River Highlands who all contributed to raising much needed funds for BIAC and other nonprofits in our community.

An ENORMOUS THANK YOU goes out to Keith Corneau, CEO of United Steel, and the entire Corneau family for continuing their commitment to and compassion for the brain injury community in Connecticut. Because of YOU, connection to a brain injury specialist remains just a phone call away to our free Helpline for anyone who needs assistance and connection to critical services and programs.
