Welcome to the Oakdale Chamber's electronic edition of the Chamber Corner. One Wednesday a month a full page is dedicated to Chamber business in the Oakdale Leader. We'd like to share this same information with you electronically. This correspondence includes information on the upcoming events, as well as some must-see details on what's happening at the Chamber. 
Member Corner - ASTRO Foundation Inc.
The Animal Shelter to Riverbank and Oakdale (ASTRO) Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3)
animal welfare organization that was formed in 2012 and is dedicated to rescuing homeless
dogs and cats from the areas of Oakdale and Riverbank. By working with a network of
volunteers, foster caregivers, and local veterinarians, the ASTRO Foundation rescues hundreds of animals every year.

Do you shop at the ASTRO Thrift & Gift Shop? Located at 650 East E Street in Oakdale, and open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm, the Thrift & Gift shop is full of amazing treasures at incredibly low prices. The best part? Everything you spend goes straight to our rescue pets!

ASTRO is excited to announce its new and ongoing CRV recycling fundraiser: Recyclables to the Rescue! Drop your CRV’s off at the ASTRO Adoption Center and we’ll turn your trash into cash for our rescue pets. The Adoption Center is located at 157 N. 5th Avenue in Oakdale, and open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
