June Volunteer Spotlight: Susanne Mannino

This month's Volunteer Spotlight shines on Susanne, TCOA Advisory Council member and Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) counselor. In her own words:

"Hi, my name is Susanne. Last year, I retired after working for the same company for 43 years. I was a systems analyst in computer programming and I really loved my job but it was time to do something else. I now exercise, play tennis and I volunteer a couple of days a week at the Library of Michigan. I also like to bike (when the weather is nice). Last year, the government gave me a birthday present - Medicare!!! I was so confused and stressed. I called MMAP and asked a lot of questions. After that experience, I hope that I can help others with their Medicare questions."

Susanne is a tremendous support to TCOA in many ways, and we appreciate the time and care Susanne puts in on behalf of local older adults. Please join us in celebrating Susanne!
