Team Fox Lake | June 2023

Lakefront Park Update

Mayor Schmit, Village staff, consultants, and contractors have been working tirelessly over the last four weeks to modify the design plans for the Lakefront Park Project. The goal was to keep the project within budget by making modifications to the original design that would not compromise the overall "wow factor" of the park, and the team was successful. Construction is set to begin on June 19th. The goal for tentative completion of the park is Memorial Day weekend 2024.

National Public Works Week was acknowledged May 21st-May 27th. Our Public Works staff celebrated by ending the week with a pizza luncheon. THANK YOU for all that you do every day to make the community a better place to live, work, and visit!

DONUT worry, be happy

As seen on the Village's social media-- June 2nd is National Donut Day! Stop over at Village Bakery or Dunkin' to celebrate.
