The Pastor's Perspectives

Food For Thought

Every morning Kathy and I do a devotional with J. D Walt on his blog. We have been going

through the book of Romans and we end every day with this creed. It has really helped me start

my day off right and keep my spirit focused on Christ. We read it aloud and it is so much more

impactful that way. I wanted to share this with you in hopes that it would help your days be

more Christ-centered and hope-filled. As the summer approaches may we stay focused on the

prize and be sowers in God’s kingdom.

Pastor Dale

The Sowers Creed

Today,

I Sow for a Great Awakening

Today,

I stake everything on the promise of the Word of God.

I depend entirely on the power of the Holy Spirit.

I have the same mind in me that was in Christ Jesus.

Because Jesus is good news and Jesus is in me, I am good news.

Today,

I will sow the extravagance of the Gospel

Everywhere I go and into everyone I meet.

Today,

I will love others as Jesus has loved me.

Today,

I will remember that the tiniest seeds become the tallest trees;

That the seeds of today become the shade of tomorrow;

That the faith of right now becomes the

Future of the everlasting kingdom.

Today,

I sow for a great awakening.

Mulberry School News

Mulberry finished up the 2022-23 year on May 17th. We had a Fun/Splash Day. We had swimming pools, water balloons, water guns, hula hoops, and a pizza party. Several parents came to enjoy most of the day with us. We ended our day with popsicles and some very tired kiddos.

Our end-of-the-year program and graduation took place on May 15th. We had ten graduates this year who will be moving on to kindergarten this fall.

We are excited to move into the new building this fall and have openings in all three classes. If you know anyone that would like to enroll children between the ages of 2-5, please let us know. All two-year-olds have to be completely potty trained and be two by the last day of August.

We will be looking for teachers and subs. If you have an interest or know someone who does, please have them contact me. My number is 940-839-7302.

Have a wonderful summer!!
