As summer is upon us, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to the success of Fun Time Academy, our quality early learning center over this past school year.

Thanks to you, we have been able to expand our reach, serve more children, provide essential resources to families, and create opportunities that inspire our children to learn, explore, and grow. Your investment in their future has created a foundation for success that extends far beyond the classroom.

I am thrilled to announce that the contract for our newest center, located at Golden Gate High School (GGHS), has been approved by the Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) School Board. This contract provides childcare services to the Teenage Parent Programs (TAPP) at GGHS. It will enable teen parents to continue their education while their children are cared for on-site through our high-quality early childhood program. We will also extend services to CCPS employees and low-income working families in our community and anticipate opening the center for students on August 3. This expansion allows us to provide even more children with the quality early learning experiences they deserve.

Water Play - Fire Truck Spray
Fun Time Academy recently had the honor of hosting the City of Naples and Greater Naples Fire Departments for a thrilling Water Spray Day! It was an event filled with excitement, laughter, and lots of splashing fun. The children's faces lit up with joy as they watched the magnificent fire trucks arrive. Under the watchful eyes of our dedicated teachers and friendly firefighters, children eagerly ventured outside to experience the refreshing water spray.

This unique experience brought sheer delight to the children and helped nurture their imagination and sense of wonder. It provided them with a firsthand glimpse into the important work of our local heroes and instilled a sense of admiration for the brave men and women of the City of Naples and Greater Naples Fire Departments.

Making a Splash with Swim Central
Exciting news! At Fun Time Academy, our four-and-five-year-old students now have access to the highly successful SWIM Central program as a part of our summer program. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this important offering, which aims to equip our little ones with essential water safety skills from an early age. With a focus on individualized attention and a maximum ratio of one instructor for every six children, our students will receive the guidance and support they need to develop their water safety skills at their own pace.

VPK & Headstart Graduation Day
Let's celebrate the achievements of our graduating students as they embark upon their next chapter in kindergarten! The graduation ceremony was a remarkable event, bringing together proud parents, dedicated teachers, and our joyful students. We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.

While we may have mixed emotions as we bid farewell, but we don't doubt that our students are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in kindergarten. Their time at our quality early learning center has provided them with a solid foundation for success.

Art Classes - United Art Council
We are fortunate to have Ms. M from the United Art Council joining us every Friday to engage our VPK students in process-oriented art activities. This collaboration is designed to promote the development of motor skills and nurture creativity among the children.

We extend our gratitude to the United Art Council for their generous support in providing the necessary materials for these sessions. With their contributions, Ms. M can share her expertise and create unforgettable artistic experiences for the children. Together, we aim to inspire their imaginations and foster their artistic growth.
Garden Revamp
We express our gratitude to the Healthy Earth Organization, as well as the volunteers and parents who generously contributed their time and effort to our garden revamp on Monday, June 19.

In this first phase, we successfully cleared and prepared the beds by adding fresh soil and mulch, ensuring we are fully prepared for the upcoming planting activities.

Moving forward, the children will participate in planting various fruits, vegetables, and herbs. These plants will be cared for throughout the school year, and we look forward to the bountiful harvests they will yield.

We extend a HUGE thank you to the Healthy Earth Organization and Big Green for their invaluable support and for enabling us to undertake projects like this. Their partnership has made a significant difference, allowing us to create wonderful opportunities for our children and cultivate a love for nature and sustainable practices.

Habitat for Humanity is a national nonprofit organization with a local chapter in Collier County. They work to provide affordable housing solutions to individuals and families in need. Here are some of the programs and services they offer:

Affordable Homeownership: Habitat for Humanity Collier County builds decent, affordable homes in collaboration with qualified low-income families. These homes are sold at an affordable price with a zero-interest mortgage, making homeownership more accessible.

Financial Education and Support: Habitat for Humanity Collier County provides financial education and counseling to empower individuals and families in managing their finances, establishing savings, and planning for long-term financial stability.

Volunteer Opportunities: Habitat for Humanity offers various volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. Volunteers can help build homes, repair existing houses, or participate in community projects, directly impacting the lives of those in need.
