Deadline to submit Session Proposals and Performing Groups for the 2024 Conference

Interested in Presenting at the 2024 CMEA Conference?

The Colorado Music Educators Association is accepting proposals for workshops, clinics, and professional development sessions for the 2024 Clinic/Conference; for CMEA Honor Performing Groups; and for CMEA Honor Award recipients. See the complete timeline below.

Early bird registration for the 2024 conference opens on August 1, 2023. Make sure that you register early to secure the lowest registration rates. The CMEA board is not increasing conference rates for CMEA Active/Retired/ or Collegiate members for the 2024 conference.

CONFERENCE DATES: Wednesday, January 24; Thursday, January 25; Friday, January 26; Saturday, January 27, 2024

CONFERENCE LOCATION: Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Call for Proposals for Conference Presentations

• The proposal form closes Friday, June 2, 2023
• Proposals are considered at the State Assembly meeting on June 10, 2023
• Proposals will be finalized by June 23, 2023
• Presenters will be notified by Margie Camp of acceptance by June 30, 2023
