Students captured the “life” in the still life painting workshop presented by Susan Patton. Beautiful creations were taken home by each student. Thank you to Susan Patton for a very fulfilling and rewarding workshop.

"I took up pottery as a hobby almost 20 years ago. Recently, I was able to retire and take it up full time at my lakeside studio in Collinsville, Mississippi, where I throw stoneware, porcelain, and fire both midrange electric and high fire gas reduction. I am an artisan potter; I usually work in families, but each piece is unique. I enjoy crafting the staples of the potter's art, like mugs and bowls and vases, often with a twist, but I also make lots of figurative work, including pigs, chickens, bunnies, and whales that are meant to get a smile from the viewer."
