Ability Job Accommodation Discussion

Join other Ability members across the nation to discuss Job Accommodations. We will listen to an overview of AT&T’s Job Accommodations process, and then we will open up the floor so you can ask questions, share your current experiences, and offer thoughts and advice to others.

Our presenters are:

Suzy Villarreal, Associate Director - Job Accommodations

and Brooke Cisneros, Lead Human Resources Specialist - Job Accommodations

In the president’s 6/8 email to all members, the third paragraph, the third sentence should read: “If you are considering leaving the company, HR is available to provide guidance, discuss the exiting process, and support you throughout the transition.”

Digital Card Writing Campaign

Thank you for your interest in writing a digital note to encourage underserved students at an AT&T Connected Learning Center.

Write two (2) digital cards* to students at AT&T Connected Learning Centers (CLCs). Digital cards will be printed and included in backpacks that will be delivered later this summer to students at CLCs.
*Earn a $5 Volunteer Rewards when you write 2 digital cards and track your volunteer time in the AT&T Volunteerism Portal HERE.
(2 digital cards = 30 minutes of volunteer time).

Ideas & Guidelines:

Inspire the student to pursue their education.
If you write more than one card, please do not cut-and-paste the same card.
Don’t be afraid to get personal – if you had to overcome barriers to education or employment, share your story.
Please write to someone with a basic reading level, as the students receiving these cards could be in elementary school.
Encourage your peers to write cards as well.
