Teresa Hammond is a staple in the Oakdale community, as a journalist at the Oakdale Leader using her words to support businesses and individuals around town. It is now our turn to rally together in support. As a single mom, she has fought and beaten breast cancer three times since 2020, and now it has reared its ugly head for a fourth time. We have gathered as a community to provide much-needed support for her fourth and hopefully final battle to beat breast cancer for good! We have collected over **$3,000** in donations from local businesses to make this incredible prize. ALL proceeds will go directly to Teresa Hammond.

For those of you who don’t know this beautiful soul, Teresa was initially diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer April 2020. She then experienced her first recurrence October 2021, second recurrence November 2022, and once again this June. She has had a total of 9 surgeries since 2020. Multiple types of chemo and 2 rounds of radiation.. totaling 58 treatments. Meanwhile, raising her two children Jackson (now 20) and Maddy (now 17).
