Important Etiquette Reminder!

LPGA Amateurs Code of Conduct

When members join the LPGA Amateurs they agree to the LPGA Amateurs Code of Conduct. LPGA Amateur Golf Association members share the responsibility of demonstrating exemplary conduct, sportsmanship, respect, and courtesy at all times when participating in LPGA Amateurs events and conducting LPGA Amateurs business. Please remember as members you can share with your Chapter Board anytime you see behavior which is contrary to the LPGA Amateurs Code of Conduct and how a member of the LPGA Family should be representing this organization.

The LPGA Amateurs Code of Conduct can be found at this link. We encourage you to review the Code of Conduct and please let a Chapter Board member know if you have any questions.

Importantly, as a representative of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association, you are responsible for conducting yourself on the golf course in a manner that respects the time and safety of other members of the golf community with whom you share the course. This includes ensuring you yell "FORE!" whenever you hit a stray ball where another person may be (even if you don't see them in the moment; they should be standing out of sight but in danger of a stray ball) and maintaining the pace of play of the course. Typically, a foursome should be able to complete 9 holes in under 2 hours and 15 minutes. If you fall behind pace of play and are out of position relative to the group in front of you, make every effort to speed up your pace, including picking up your ball if you are taking too long to complete a hole.

Support Black Women's Health at the Charity Golf Outing

Tuesday, August, 6

The Legend at Bergamont

We are proud to announce the continuation of our partnership with the

Foundation for Black Women's Wellness as we prepare for our Charity Golf Outing on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024!

Thanks to your incredible support last year, we brought together 123 golfers and raised $25,000 through sponsorships and golfer donations to support the Foundation's critical work to eliminate life-threatening health and birth disparities for Black women and babies.

The Foundation, established in 2012, has been a beacon of hope, providing education, advocacy, support, and a wide range of services aimed at addressing health disparities and promoting physical, mental, and financial health. As one of their partners, the LPGA Amateurs Golf Association Madison is proud to be part of these efforts that advance women’s health and invest in community empowerment.

This year, LPGA members Rachel Geissler (Golf Outing Chair), Brenda Homeister, Terri Redmond, Kelsey Kjome, Hallie Evenson, and Aurora Austin are collaborating with the Foundation’s team to host a next-level experience for our golfers at The Legend at Bergamont.

Register your foursome today! By participating in this year's event, you'll be helping to expand these crucial services, ensuring more mothers and babies receive the care they need to thrive!
