A Southern Baptist Association

From Your

Associational Mission Strategist

Camp Season is here! Our Children's camps begin in a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to seeing what God will do at our camps again this year. If you haven't registered your child for one of our camps, please do so as soon as possible. The applications can be found on our website www.southcentralbaptistnetwork.com under the Camp Page. We have some great Directors this year for our camps. Nina Adams will be directing our Girls Camp this year. She has previously directed camps in past years and I am excited about her directing our Girls Camp. Amber Posey will be directing our Day Camp again this year. She does an amazing job leading this camp and has some exciting things planned for this year. Jacob Howard will be helping me direct the Boy's Camp. Jacob is fairly new to our community but has a passion for camp ministry. I am excited about him leading Camp Connect. Please be in prayer for our camps! I am very thankful for the churches who help donate supplies and prepare and serve our meals. I truly believe this is going to be a great camp season!

Please be in prayer for the Southern Baptist Convention. Laura and I will be attending this year and would appreciate your prayers. The Convention will be June 9-10. We will be attending the Southern Baptist Conference for Associational Leaders before the Convention meeting begins. I always look forward to this conference. This conference always provides great information I gain each year to help me as I lead and encourage our churches. Please pray for all the messengers that attend the convention. We are voting on very important matters this year! I am praying we will continue making decisions that help us stay true to our mission and will unite us to advance the Kingdom.

I am blessed to serve this great association. I am praying for the churches that will have VBS and for Churches involved in mission work this summer. May lives be changed and souls saved!

The association office has a small emergency food pantry that ministers to those in need. Many of those who we assist only have a microwave and do not have access to a stove and/or oven, so the above listed items are primarily needed.

(Please check the expiration dates before donating.)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP WITH THIS MINISTRY.

YOUR DONATIONS, AND ESPECIALLY YOUR PRAYERS, ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
